Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the legal relationship between the person who downloads or uses the WikiFlow mobile application and the developer Mustafa Çevik / CevikTech.

By downloading or using the app, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

WikiFlow is a free mobile application that normalizes and delivers content from the Wikipedia/Wikimedia ecosystem and includes knowledge-based games (WikiRace, daily challenge, article guessing, etc.).

The app operates entirely anonymously — no registration or account creation is required.

The developer grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, limited license under these Terms.

• Permitted: Using the app for personal, non-commercial purposes; installing it on your own devices
• Prohibited: Copying, distributing, or selling the app to third parties
• Prohibited: Attempting to obtain source code through reverse engineering
• Prohibited: Using the app with automated tools (bots, scrapers)
• Prohibited: Calling the backend API directly without authorization

Article texts and images in the app are sourced from Wikipedia/Wikimedia and are protected under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0).

When quoting from articles, attribution obligations under CC BY-SA 4.0 apply. Image licenses may vary; refer to the attribution shown for each image.

By using the app, you agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes
• Not send automated requests that overload the service infrastructure
• Not exploit the game systems through cheating, exploits, or manipulation
• Not engage in behavior that negatively affects other users' experience

The app shows ads via Google AdMob to sustain the free service. Ads are third-party content; the developer is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of ad content.

The WikiFlow name, logo, design, and original app code belong to the developer. No ownership claim is made over Wikipedia content.

Unauthorized commercial use, reproduction, or distribution of app content is prohibited.

WikiFlow passes through content from Wikipedia/Wikimedia as-is; the developer does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of article content.

The app is provided 'as-is'; uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Wikimedia API changes or technical issues may cause temporary unavailability.

The developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use or unavailability of the app.

The developer may suspend or terminate your right to use the app without prior notice in cases of breach of these Terms, misuse of the service infrastructure, or legal necessity.

Since no account is required, termination results in removal of the app; anonymous device data is deleted within 12 months.

The developer reserves the right to update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or in update notes, and the last-updated date in this document will be revised.

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes will first be resolved by mutual agreement; if no agreement is reached, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction.
