1. Description of the Service

Haberin is a personalized news application that lets you view news, customize your feed by sources and categories, save articles, receive daily digests and notifications, and post comments. News content is aggregated from third-party publishers’ RSS feeds and related sources. Haberin is not the producer of this content but a provider of aggregation and referral services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading the App, creating an account, using it as a guest, or otherwise using it, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App and delete your account if you have one.

3. Account and Responsibility

• You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
• You are responsible for the security of your account (including your password); do not share your password with anyone.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Guest sessions may be created without an email address; you can make your account permanent later from the profile screen.
• The App supports email/password, Google Sign-In, and Apple Sign-In; the terms of these social login providers also apply.

4. Acceptable Use

You must use the App only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. The following are prohibited:

• Actions that damage or disrupt the App, servers, or network
• Unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data
• Automated requests, bots, scraping, or use that overloads the service
• Posting defamatory, misleading, hateful, obscene, or unlawful content
• Use that infringes intellectual property rights
• Attempts to bypass the App’s security measures

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without notice.

5. User Content, Comments, and Moderation

• You are solely responsible for the comments and content you post.
• Comments are subject to automated and, where necessary, manual moderation (length limits, profanity/abuse filters, and community rules). Content deemed inappropriate may be withheld, hidden, or removed.
• Users who violate the rules may face comment restrictions (including shadow banning).
• You can report other users or content and block users.
• For content you post, you grant Haberin a non-exclusive right to display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of providing the service.

6. News Content and Third-Party Links

• News headlines, summaries, images, and links belong to the respective third-party sources. Haberin does not guarantee the accuracy, neutrality, timeliness, or legality of this content.
• The App shows a news summary and directs you to the original content via the source’s own link (using an in-app browser), so the final read goes to the original publisher.
• When directed to external sites, their privacy policies and terms are not under our control.
• Haberin is not liable for any harm arising from third-party content, links, or advertising.

7. RSS Use, Copyright, and Content Removal (Takedown) Notice

This section contains legal notices relevant to content-owning publishers and sources.

How content is collected: Haberin collects information such as headline, summary, publication date, featured image, and the original link from publishers’ publicly available RSS/Atom feeds. Sources’ robots.txt rules are respected when accessing content. The purpose is to direct the user to the source’s own site via the summary; copyright in the content always belongs to the respective publisher/source.

Source-level opt-out: For some sources, only a summary is shown and/or full-text fetching is disabled. Usage preferences stated by a source are applied technically.

Removal / objection notice: If you are a content owner, publisher, or rights holder and do not want your RSS feed or content to be collected/displayed in the Haberin App, it is sufficient to send an email to ceviktech@gmail.com. Upon your request, the relevant source or content will be removed from the App within a reasonable time. To help us evaluate your notice quickly, please include proof of rights ownership, the publication/source name, the RSS feed address (URL), and the nature of your request.

Legal disclaimer: Haberin is not the producer or publisher of content automatically collected from third-party sources; it acts as an intermediary service provider aggregating publicly available feeds. Haberin cannot be held liable for errors, omissions, copyright, or third-party rights violations that may appear in aggregated content unless a proper notice is submitted to it. Upon a proper notice, the relevant content or source is removed within a reasonable time.

8. Intellectual Property

The App’s interface, logo, design, brand, and our own text belong to Haberin. Rights to news content belong to the respective sources/publishers. You may share content for personal, non-commercial use; attributing the source is good practice.

9. Advertising and Free Service

• The App may display advertising (Google AdMob). Ad display and personalization are subject to consent mechanisms (UMP/ATT) depending on your region.
• By watching a rewarded ad, you can read ad-free for a limited time. This is not a paid purchase.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Haberin does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that the displayed news will be accurate or current. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for damages arising from use of the App, including data loss, device damage, or indirect damages.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Haberin and related parties shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or punitive damages arising from the use or unavailability of the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of indirect damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

12. Termination of Account

• You may close your account from within the App or by contacting us.
• If you breach these Terms or the acceptable use rules, your account may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.
• After termination, retention or deletion of your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes are subject to the courts and enforcement offices of Turkey; consumer rights remain reserved where applicable.
